The Seirra Neive, Seirra Grasalema and for me the Seirra Crestallinni Andalusia Granges offer a fascinating area of exploration for the landscape artist. In 2007 and 2008 I was attracted to the notions of Pueblo as expressed by the poets Lorca and Neruda and I concentrated my work on this exploring the pueblos on the road from San Roque to Jimine and in the white villages around Jubrique. As my grasp of contemporary Spanish Landscape pinturas increased; in the summer of 2009 I began to concentrate more on the topography alone and its micro climates.
